We don’t always have our best days wether it’s school, work or competition.
We all need to fail along the way or we will never improve.
Fear of failure along with high expectations can damage a young persons confidence for life.
In boxing, you can win, lose or get robbed (ex world champion James Hare said this). The sooner that coaches and parents can learn to guide young people through these experiences, the stronger and more resilient they will become as adults.
Sport can teach young people that even if they didn’t have their best day, they can come back another day and do better.
