COMING SOON.

We are sure it won’t be long now until we are allowed to re-open.

Training Cave, Birstall’s community boxing hub that provides boxing and fitness classes to people of all levels of ability.

Kids boxing, adults boxing, beginners, advanced, keep fit sessions, girls only classes, free school holiday sessions for young people and community projects.

Classes start for people as young as 6 years old in the ‘mini boxers’. Our Junior beginners boxing classes are for young people aged between 9-13 years old. Senior beginners boxing classes are for people 14+.

Training Caves coaches select individuals from the beginners classes who they think are ready to progress to the advanced sessions. They will then trial with the advanced boxers with the aim of being selected to compete for the Training Cave boxing team.

Although boxing is at the core of what we do, guiding people to a competitive level isn’t our sole aim. Training Cave uses boxing to help and teach people to be fit, healthy and strong for life.

A female only class is available to those who do not wish to train alongside males and we also provide 18 fitness classes within our timetable running through the day and night.

Free school holiday boxing sessions are available to young people from the local area. In the past, this project has been shown to help reduce youth crime and nuisance behaviour in and around Birstall.

Community projects include one to one and small intensive group sessions for those working with the youth offending team and free sessions within local schools, colleges, community centres, parks and estates.

Training Cave is run by ex professional and amateur boxers that are now giving back to their sport and local area. Our coaches are licensed by England boxing and the British Boxing Board of Control.

Keep your eyes peeled.
